Miriam, Mary and Me draws children into the world of women who are recorded in legends, personal experiences, and biblical narrative. It retells the stories of women in the Bible, and also tells real life stories of women in society today.
Dr. Lois Miriam Wilson is a well-known storyteller, biblical scholar and theologian. She is past president of the World Council of Churches, and has won numerous awards, including the Order of Canada. An ordained minister, she was the first woman Moderator of the United Church of Canada. A mother and a grandmother, Dr. Wilson lives in Toronto, Ontario.
