During the tumultuous medieval era, danger lurked around every corner. A King, facing the constant threat of Viking invaders, employed desperate measures to protect his kingdom. Alchemist, Mystics and Necromancers were assembled and charged with creating warriors capable of repelling these invaders. From this corrupt collaboration emerged a new breed of humans, now known as vampires.
One such vampire is Lotharious, an immortal frustrated by his ability to mimic art and music while lacking an essential part of humanity- imagination. In an attempt to understand humanities talent for creativity Lotharious tortures his victims and finds himself addicted to their fear. Falling in love with an exquisitely beautiful woman, however, causes him to reconsider many things, including the value of a life. Standing in the way of their eternal bliss is a Vampire hunter (Marious Ambros) who was created by similar methods. Unbeknownst to Lotharious he's on a collision course with this hunter and his future will depend upon the outcome of their encounter.
