Tarun Narayan is an accomplished media professional. Having done his Masters In Communication Management from Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communications, Pune, he has worked as a management journalist with prestigious financial publications in Mumbai such as The Financial Express and Business Standard's Indian Management Journal. In all the case studies and whitepapers that he would write on management practices of Fortune 500 corporates, he was always guided and mentored to write on the spiritual quotient that is at the heart of all management best practices. This inspiration was given to him by his then editor of Indian Management Mr. R. Jagannathan. Post his journalistic stint, Tarun subsequently served as communications head with companies such as Sutherland Global Services and Accenture, where he has won multiple awards from the top management for his contribution. All along, his firm grounding in eastern spiritual principles helped him to be effective in his professional career. His own values and Mr Jagannathan's mentorship inspired him to write Srimad Bhagavatham, the divine treatise on attaining spiritual excellence. His other hobbies include practicing Carnatic music and playing violin, for which he has undergone formal training during his early childhood days. He additionally holds an Executive MBA from IIT Bombay's School of Management located at the powai campus.
