When one of the members of the lady's bridge club at Summit's Way is accosted by a police imposter, the women form a vigilante group to apprehend the culprit. Armed with pepper spray and walkie talkies, the women devise a plan to catch the pervert. In addition to playing cards the club assembles a jigsaw puzzle donated by Miss Toliver, a ninety-year-old retired librarian. Shannon Durham, in her early twenties, survives a car wreck and is hired by Miss Toliver as a housemate. Shannon volunteers to be bate to attract the phony cop.
