The book "Soups" is the first item in the series "Old kitchen recipes from Central Europe". The presented cooking recipes were popular over 120 years ago in Central Europe - from Lithuania to Austria. The author, Maria Ochorowicz-Monatowa, practiced at the imperial court in Vienna and published a lot on nutrition. Some of the recipes in this book may seem bizarre (that's how they used to cook!), But most of them describe how to make tasty dishes. In addition to soups using various types of meat, Lenten soups are presented, served on Christmas or at Easter. It is good to serve the soup with a tasty addition - the last chapter describes how to prepare side dishes for soups.
