You might think Area 51 is full of secrets, but the real secret is all around us. The secret isn't from outer space though it is Out Worldly. Mystical energies were released into our world long ago causing strange, beautiful and deadly things to arise.

Chaos entered into our realm with the mystical energies, until the United Nations sanctioned its participants to assemble units of special men and women to combat these violent situations. These units, collectively called Dark Stalkers held the chaotic witches, lycanthropes, vampires and the like at bay. These new beings were identified and allowed to live among us secretly but some would not live within the limits of our laws. As a result the world governments were forced to pass a secret bill to have them licensed and regulated.

Now, in the turn of the century, evil has moved its focus to a town in Pennsylvania called Reading. It looks for a demon holding the knowledge that could plunge our entire existence into a hellish nightmare causing the human race to live as cattle or fodder to the ruling denizens.

Also in Reading is a special man, Maximus Jordan who has no idea who or what he is but he alone is the key that will save our world or plunge it into an eternal hell. His only guide to learning how to our world's fate is a mysterious man that tried to kill him. Max moved away to escape the death of his family and a broken relationship but the sequence of events begin on his RETURN.
