Sarah JH Powell is a co-host of The Whispering Woods podcast, a show that delves into the dark and mysterious world of folklore, supernatural and the unexplained. She has been fascinated by the paranormal since she was a child and was given a book by her late grandfather about haunted objects. She would also listen to her mother read the original, often gruesomely macabre, fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm and lapped up every moment. Sarah hosts the podcast with her son Tobie, who inherited his mother's love for the spooky and the strange. Together, they share their own experiences and research on various topics, from urban legends to ancient myths. Sarah is a mother of three and a grandmother of one. She lives in Bristol, UK, with her two youngest children where she enjoys reading and crafts, as well as going on hikes with her partner to spooky and strange places.
