Dawn DiPrince writes every day in her job as the Executive Director of History Colorado, the Colorado Historical Society. In this work, she heads a team that teaches, tells, and interprets the diverse stories of Colorado, and she leads community workshops where neighbors collectively write the history of where they live. She lives in Denver, Colorado, with her husband and is the proud mom of three incredible children.
Cheryl Miller Thurston taught English and writing classes, grades seven through university level, and then worked in publishing for many years. She is the author of many books for teachers, several plays and musicals, and two novels. Also a musician, she is the founder of the national organization Closet Accordion Players of America. She lives with her husband and two pampered cats in Loveland, Colorado.
