Growing up in the Banks household proves to be a daunting task for a young Camille Banks. But because she believes God has made a covenant with her, she refuses to give up hope of someday making a better life for herself. That is until her dreams are halted when she discovers she's pregnant at the young age of seventeen. To make matters worse, the love of her life, the one she once felt rescued her from the hell she called home, decides he's no longer happy in the relationship, and leaves Camille to raise their daughter on her own. Feeling inadequate and overwhelmed by the roller coaster ride in the form of her so called life, she begins to believe that her dreams of a better life are nothing more than just that. Seeming, at times, irrational while trying to make sense of it all, Camille discovers that keeping the faith is not an easy thing to do when nothing seems to be going her way, spiritually, financially, and most of all, romantically. Continue to hold on, or learn to let go, what's a girl to do?
