Hinrich Kränzlin and his wife, Katrina, have worked with YWAM as full-time volunteers since 1978. Married in 1980, they relocated from Europe and spent the next twenty years residing with their young family in various Pacific Island nations including Saipan, Guam, Tonga and Fiji. Hinrich has travelled the Pacific islands region extensively. He also served as YWAM Pacific Regional Director from 2000-2014, helping pioneer community development ministries to the outer islands in the Pacific, with a special focus on Fiji. Hinrich is currently the CEO of Yachts for Life, Pacific, a ministry he co-founded in 2018. Hinrich and Katrina relocated to New Zealand in 2004 where they continue their work in the Pacific region. They have four children and eleven grandchildren.
