Pastor John-David Mathews has been in ministry for more than 35 years. Currently, he is co-pastor of a united fellowship comprised of Remnant of Truth International (Shepherd John-James of the House of Flores.(R)) and Manna from Heaven Ministries International. He is a successful published author, has traveled extensively, and written numerous newspaper, magazine, radio and television articles regarding his faith. His Southern accent and 'down home' sense of humor have provided a unique platform from which to launch 1000's of hours of radio and television and internet programs featuring an unusual and provocative teaching style that digs down to the bedrock of the ancient text of our heritage and offers a fresh insight from that vantage point which will have you asking for more! He is well known for his Hebraic perspective of the Scriptures and his scholarly approach to what the mainstream Believing community considers a non-traditional, point-of-view offering a refreshing look at many of the long-held, religious tenants of our faith! He has been married for 28 years to his lovely wife, Brenda. They have 6 children and 4 grandchildren. They currently reside in Oregon, but are originally from the Gulf Coast.
