Elias Huer had grown up to a fine young man. His twin brother Silas had gone to the Saturn moon of Dracos to continue his education and learn about a new culture; it was what he enjoyed doing as a child: learning about different cultures of others, especially his own. Elias, meanwhile, was sent to the dreaded worlds of Anarchia and Arachina, located beyond the reaches of New Chicago. As he braved their stormy enviornments, he met a young lady called Cindihan, whom he intended to take away from the primitive world of Anarchia to live with him as his wife in New Chicago. Elias had another dream, however, and this dream was to fly out into space and enjoy exploring its vastness. That dream was about to come true, in this second instalment of the Young Dr Huer series.
