Dr. Yates has earned advanced degrees in English, Reading, and Educational Administration while working as a teacher, coordinator, supervisor, vice principal and principal. As Department Chairman of English at a large urban high school, he created new aspects of textbook budgeting and departmental scheduling to streamline and simplify teacher/student interaction. Dr. Yates also wrote many curriculum guides and program evaluation processes which he made available to staff, students, teachers, and parents.
