Dr. Robert M. Myers has been a part of Christian higher education since 1993 and currently serves as the seventh President of Toccoa Falls College. Dr. Myers has not only served in educational institutions; he has served as a police officer from 1976-1988, in Maryland, where he held various assignments including patrol officer, field training officer, polygraph examiner, SCUBA team member, hostage negotiator, and detective. Dr. Myers served as a manuscript reviewer for the Academy of Management (Management History Division). He also served as a reviewer for both Prentice Hall and McGraw-Hill. His publications are included in academic journals such as Informatica, Management Decision, The Journal of the Association of Marketing Educators, Florida Banker, as well as proceedings from many national and International conferences. Dr. Myers was also ranked as one of the top twelve most prolific writing college presidents in the country producing a large number of written opinion pieces. Dr. Myers is also a regular blogger for the Huffington Post, representing the conservative Christian position on cultural issues of the day. Dr. Myers is a native of Torrance, California but spent many of his formative years in Pennsylvania and Maryland where he attended The Mercersburg Academy and subsequently received a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Maryland. Dr. Myers also holds an M.B.A from Palm Beach Atlantic University and a D.B.A from Nova Southeastern University.
