Maggie May has only weeks until graduation when Edward Gripp, a wealthy benefactor and the architect of Maggie's art college, goes missing from a campus Halloween party. Bill Bleach, the gawkish young detective assigned to the case, discovers a mysterious labyrinth within the walls of the art college where it appears Gripp spied on the activities of the faculty and students. When Gripp's mutilated body is found and a gorgeous art professor is also slain, panic spreads through art college.
