John M. Carney was born in 1931 in Denver, Colorado. He is a Korean War army veteran. In 1955, he became a Christian and since 1958 has taught Bible classes in his home, in congregations he has attended, and through correspondence courses with World Bible School to students in the United States and other nations. He has spent years researching and teaching scientific and Biblical evidences of Christianity. Through From the Reality of God to the Victory in Christ, he now makes his research available to the public to inform and encourage those who wish to know the truth. The book has two basic purposes: to strengthen the believer's shield of faith and to help anyone searching for truth to discover that God is real. It details how both science and the historical, supernatural resurrection from the dead of Jesus the Messiah as outlined in the Bible support the reality of God and show His plan for mankind. John lives in Colorado with his wife of 59 years. Their five children, twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren are scattered throughout the United States and Canada.
